Voot is a video-on-demand service that was launched in early 2016 as the Indian reply to services like Netflix and Prime-Video. It has been developed by (and is licensed under) Viacom 18 – popular for channels like Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1 and Colors. Voot is only available in India (as of yet) and it contains over 45,000 hours of video-based content. In fact, as India is a land of cultural/language varieties, voot-app can be enjoyed in a number of regional-languages as well.
